incredible talent!

The day our second daughter got engaged my first phone call was to Doug Waitman of the Rembrandt Band.  This amazing band had played at our first daughter’s wedding 6 years ago and they made it a day to remember.  So there was no question that we needed their incredible talents for this daughter’s special day.  Doug is incredible to work with.  His professionalism, communication skills and amazing skill set to bring together the most talented singers and musicians is just a few of the reasons you need to look no further for a band for your event.  Doug takes the time to get to know your event and needs.  We had a unique outdoor venue with some space challenges and we were also dealing with an epic heat wave, which resulted in the bride and groom having to take some unscheduled breaks to deal with overheating.  Doug and Rembrandt didn’t miss a beat.  They were able to pivot on a dime and kept our guests dancing without any disruption to the evening.  Now let’s talk about the music!  Rembrandt is comprised of some of the most talented musicians, singers and performers I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  You want Bruno Mars…..they sound exactly like him!  You prefer the oldies……no problem!  Some 80’s hip hop?  Amazing!  One of my favorite moments of the evening was during the salad service when our guests were enjoying conversation at their tables and the rest of the band was taking a quick break (but Doug is never on a break as there is always music playing).  Doug and his female duet partner began singing the beautiful opera “Con Te Partiro”.  As their beautiful vocals filled the air I watched as one by one our guests paused, put down their utensils and looked up in shock as they thought it was the original Andrea Bocelli recording playing.  You could hear a pin drop as the singers held their final note resulting in all of our guests jumping up and giving them a standing ovation!  My daughter’s one wish for her wedding was that everyone dances the night away.  Because of the talents of Doug and Rembrandt this wish became a reality and was a night to remember. What more could a mom ask for? I am looking forward to when our third daughter finds that special someone and I get to make that first call to Doug and Rembrandt again!

Best Wedding Band Ever!
Rembrandt is the best wedding- they are amazing! Doug is incredible and professional. He is so communicative and professional. The entire band is so talented and brought the energy to our wedding. All our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. We have been to two other weddings where Rembrandt has played and they never disappoint. They even helped us with a special surprise for our guests. They have an incredibly diverse music set list for all generations. You cannot go wrong with them. We are so grateful for them!

A must hire vendor!
I don't even know where to begin. Rembrandt was probably the best Vendor that we hired at our wedding. The energy and talent they brought to our wedding were completely unmatched by anything I have ever seen. I knew hiring a band for our wedding would be expensive but Rembrandt was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. All of our guests were on the dance floor all night and we received too many compliments to count about the band and how amazing they were. Besides the actual day of the day, Doug was such a joy to work with throughout the process. He was responsive and accommodating which was so helpful. I CANNOT recommend this band enough. We hired Rembrandt for our ceremony music, our cocktail hour music, and our reception. If you want a band for your wedding you need to hire Rembrandt!
